In Memoriam

On May 10,2008, a University of Wisconsin Med Flight helicopter from Madison, WI crashed in near La Crosse,WI, killing three crew members: Dr. Darren Bean, the flight physician, Mark Coyne, a registerd nurse, and the pilot, Steve Lipperer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our entire transport family as we grieve this loss.

AMPA, AAMS and the Alpert Medical School of Brown University are jointly sponsoring a one day preconference at World Congress AIRMED 2008, which is being held May 20-23 in Prague, Czech Republic.

This preconference is designed to provide topics of interest and relevance to all air medical providers, allowing attendees to learn from experiences of medical and program directors in the United States as well as throughout the world.
